Hey I'm Brian, a passionate first-generation Mexican American photographer hailing from the  Central Valley. My journey defies convention, as I've strived to make a living as an artist against the odds stacked by my immigrant background.

Growing up, the norm was to pursue higher education for a secure job, a path intended to shield me from the struggles my parents and ancestors endured. Their determination to forge a life in a new country underscored the value of hard work and seizing opportunities. I'm proud to say that nothing in my life is handed to me; it's all achieved through grit and the chances I've embraced.

Originating from a background devoid of privilege, connections, or resources to chase aspirations, I ventured into the creative realm without a safety net. This journey fuels my drive, work ethic, and artistic fervor. These experiences are at the core of my purpose.

My mission extends beyond my personal story. I'm committed to reshaping cultural norms by leveraging my presence in the photography world. It's clear that there's a gap in representation like mine, and I aspire to inspire others, my family, and myself, proving that creative dreams are attainable, and the struggles of preceding generations were not in vain.
